Homeownership Online Application

How do I apply for the Homeownership Program?

You can apply online!

  1. Go to the Homeownership Eligibility Questionnaire and complete all 3 pages
  2. You'll receive an email within 30 minutes indicating whether you are eligible or not based on your answers.
  3. If you are eligible, you'll get another email asking you to set a password for your Homeownership Portal account. 
  4. After logging in, click the "Submit Program Application" button in the center of the screen. 

If you don't see the "View My File" or "Submit Application" buttons, reach out to us.

Make sure to have all of the required documents to submit!

I submitted an application. How do I check on the status of my application?

  • The application processing typically takes 30 days. We'll contact you by phone and/or email as we’re processing your application if anything is missing or to get clarification. Once your application has been processed you will receive a letter in the mail to notify you about your status.

  • You can log into your account in the Habitat Homeownership Portal to view your file and current program status.
