      ReStore donations are tax deductible

      You may be able to claim a tax deduction when you donate items to ReStore

      When you make a donation to ReStore, you'll receive a receipt. Hold onto it for when tax season comes around for potential deductions. The receipt alone will suffice if the value of your donation is $500 or less. For donations over $500, you must fill out and attach IRS Form 8283. Retain all documentation, just in case you are audited by the IRS. Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a 501(c)3 charitable organization.

      Besides the tax deduction, you'll also help us keep good, reusable items out of landfills.  Plus, 100% of the proceeds from your donation will help support Twin Cities Habitat's mission.
